No Other Central Florida Lawn Sprinkler Company Brings This Level of Competence, Commitment, Experience, Value and Training to Your Property
Like most parts of Florida, Alaqua Country Club sprinkler repair service follows the same routine. The challenges for lawn sprinklers in FL are sandy soil and a hot climate. When you add to that equation severe irrigation watering restrictions, it can be hard to maintain your landscape. Only a well-designed and cared for lawn sprinkler system can overcome these obstacles. Running your sprinklers for the correct amount of time is very important, along with using the right sprinklers for the right situation. Even if you have those two parts of the equation correct, your system will still need regular maintenance. The first part of maintaining your irrigation is to look at it while it is running. Improper sprinkler spacing is when the spray heads do not throw water all the way from one to another. A more technical term for this is a lack of uniformity of distribution. The effective distribution of water over the pattern of the sprinkler discharge changes. In order to avoid spots of dead, dry grass, you will need to observe how even the application of water is over your grass.
Mixing various types of sprinklers on the same valve is a bad idea as they all precipitate water at different rates. There are approximate run times that you can use for each type of sprinkler although these need to be adjusted for your individual area. Spray heads should run for twenty minutes and the rotors for about one hour. Low volume or drip irrigation shoulder run for a minimum of one hour. Please note that the drip system does not have to run as often as the turf irrigation. On established landscapes you can keep the drip zone off until the plants show signs of stress. Checking your sprinkler system once a month should help you save on water costs and keep your landscape in good shape.
